An Intelligent Four-Way Pallet Shuttle Automated Warehouse is a high-density AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) designed for palletized goods.The system integrates four-way pallet shuttle robots, shuttle racking, vertical lifts, conveyor systems, and intelligent software platforms to enable fully automated pallet storage, retrieval, and internal transportation.
Although there are many mature solutions for high-density, multi-depth pallet warehouse storing, like Radio Shuttle System, Stacker Crane plus Satellite System, Mother & Baby Shuttle (satellite) System, but space are still left for more specific market and industries. Since 2016, HUAYIDE team had input research and development on Four Way Pallet Shuttle for exploring more flexibility and further expansion in fully automatic pallet storing and retrieval system.

The system adopts multi-deep dense storage architecture combined with compact racking layouts and vertical storage design. Warehouse heights can exceed 24 meters, allowing full utilization of vertical space.
Compared with conventional flat warehouses, the four-way shuttle system can increase storage capacity by over 300%, making it ideal for regions where industrial land resources are limited.

WMS synchronizes data with ERP systems in real time, optimizes the entire process from storage to shipping, and allocates resources efficiently for order fulfillment.
Additionally, HUAYIDE provides accurate regional visualization of downstream capacity, destination availability and equipment status, helping to maximize warehouse space utilization.

The operational workflow of the system follows a coordinated automation process.

Pallets enter the system through conveyor lines.

A shuttle vehicle receives instructions from the control system and transports the pallet to the assigned storage lane.
